Born in Africa of medical missionary parents, Adrienne grew up in Yorkshire, and after a degree in Cambridge qualified as a doctor herself. A short spell in Uganda with her husband Michael was followed by a career in general practice. She has always expressed her thoughts and feelings in writing, and enjoyed painting. This volume is a collection of poems and paintings assembled in retirement.
